Professional info

I am an artist, an illustrator and an art tutor. In art, I specialise in painting and the subject I explore is the stereotypical representation of women in the media. (for more info please check my website, (www.kapanidou.co.uk). I have been illustrating children's books since 2004 and have enjoyed every single minute of bringing characters to life! My latest book has just been published by Patakis Publications, Greece. As a creative person I take pleasure in the constant challenge of teaching people of different ages, backgrounds and skillsets. The subjects I teach are art, as well as other core subjects through interactive play and drama. It is my strong belief that all forms of art can help mold well-rounded, considerate and contented personalities, therefore I intend to continue being involved in the arts and encouraging as many people possible to be part of them too.
